Harris Wellness Ben Taub Hospital Launches Gun Lock Giveaway Advertising Firearm Security

Harris Wellness Ben Taub Hospital in Houston will be distributing two,000 gun locks to individuals, guests, and the basic public as aspect of their efforts to market firearm security. The initiative, which is taking location in September to coincide with National Suicide Prevention Month, aims to encourage protected storage of firearms. The gun locks have been donated to the hospital by Project ChildSafe of the National Shooting Sports Foundation.

Ben Taub Hospital, recognized as a Level 1 trauma facility, handles roughly six,200 trauma situations yearly. These situations involve serious motor automobile accidents, victims of crimes, and industrial accidents. Trauma is classified as either blunt or penetrating injuries, with each forms getting potentially life-threatening. The distribution of the gun locks is intended to contribute to the general security and properly-getting of the neighborhood.
