The government has established a coordination table for work in agriculture, where ministries, unions, and organizations can discuss labor costs, manpower procurement, flow management, training, and simplification. This was announced by Patrizio La Pietra, the undersecretary of Masaf, at the end of a meeting held with representatives of Agricultural redemption.
La Pietra made it clear that the government is committed to defending the agricultural sector and will do so with the same conviction. The government is also considering a new policy for community agricultural projects that will directly impact the agricultural sector and its stakeholders.
The majority of farmers will benefit from the new policies that are set to be introduced by the government. Discussions will begin with regions and agricultural organizations to identify supply chains to which the first support interventions will be allocated. Additionally, a revision to the insurance system is being considered to lower insurance policy costs for farmers and expand coverage for catastrophic risks.
