J.P. Morgan Predicts Cooling Stock Markets in Europe

Global Stock Markets Mixed: FTSE Falls, S&P 500 Rises, and Major Companies Release Reports

The trading day began with a mixed trend in Europe, with the British FTSE index falling by 0.3%, while the DAX and KAC opened unchanged. However, Wall Street futures traded in a mixed trend with minimal changes. In Asia, the stock exchanges of China, Hong Kong, and South Korea are closed for their respective holidays, while Japan’s stock market is closed for “National Day”.

In terms of indices and stocks, the S&P 500 rose by about 0.6% and closed above 5,000 points for the first time last Friday on Wall Street. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones index fell by about 0.1%, and the Nasdaq recorded increases of around 1.2%. Several intriguing reports are expected to emerge this week from companies such as Coca-Cola, IRB, Paramount Global, Cisco Corp., Occidental Petroleum, Coinbase Global, Applied Materials, and Rocco.
