Global Innovations in Glass Technology: The 97th International Conference Comes to Aachen, Germany

The 97th Glass-Technology Conference is set to take place in Aachen, Germany from May 27 – 29. Organized by the German Society of Glass Technology (DGG), the conference will be held at the Eurogress in Aachen. Its goal is to bring together industry professionals, researchers, and students for the purpose of exchanging knowledge, networking, and exploring current developments and challenges within the glass sector.

With submissions from 20 countries, the conference offers a global perspective on the latest advancements and research in the field. Sessions will cover a wide range of topics relevant to both scientific exploration and practical application of glass. Discussions will include topics such as glass science and technology, including chemistry and structure of glasses, glass physics, properties, characterisation, glass-ceramics and crystallization in glasses, sustainable practices in glass melting forming and post-processing, glasses for better life, computational glass science and technology.

In addition to these sessions, attendees can participate in poster sessions, excursions to explore local attractions like museums or historical sites related to glass manufacturing process , extended breaks to relax or catch up on emails or work tasks while attending conference as well as social events aimed at fostering professional connections among attendees.
