In a riveting match during the round of 16 at the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, Germany emerged victorious over the United States 3-2. The game was played at a fast pace, with Germany taking an early lead with a 14th-minute free kick by Charles Herrmann. However, the United States quickly equalized just 10 minutes later with a goal by Taha Habroune.

Germany then regained the lead before the break with another goal by Max Moerstedt. The second half saw Germany threatening to extend their advantage, but the United States managed to level the scores for the second time in the 80th minute with a free kick by David Vazquez.
