Borrell promises Kuleba increased military support from the EU for Ukraine

From EU Military Support for Ukraine to Online Discussions on Adultery and Loneliness: The Diversity of Human Concerns in 2021

On Wednesday, Josep Borrell, the High Representative for Foreign Policy of the EU, met with Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dimitro Kuleba, in Brussels to discuss Russia’s aggression and the EU’s military support for Ukraine. Borrell assured Kuleba that the EU will increase its support for Ukraine in order to counteract Russia’s attacks on its critical energy infrastructure.

The two reaffirmed their commitment to providing ammunition and financial support through the €5 billion Ukraine Assistance Fund. Borrell emphasized the need for a Peace Summit with international participation and invited Kuleba to attend the next Foreign Affairs Council in April to discuss Ukraine’s needs and coordinate EU support. Additionally, Ukraine was invited to co-host the EU-Ukraine Defense Industrial Forum in May.
