As World Theatre Day approaches on March 27, we are reflecting on the significant impact that theatre has on our community. Fresh Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering local artists through resources and community connections, has been supporting TEATRX, a local production company, since 2019. Angela Carranza from Fresh Arts and Benito Vasquez from TEATRX sat down with Houston Life to discuss how they are collaborating to advance Houston’s theatre scene.
Fresh Arts and TEATRX are working together to empower Latinx voices, artists, and their stories within the Houston community. By providing support and resources, these organizations are helping to elevate diverse voices and perspectives on the stage. The partnership between Fresh Arts and TEATRX highlights the importance of collaboration and support within the arts community. By working together, they are able to create innovative and impactful theatre experiences that resonate with audiences across Houston. Through their dedication and commitment to advancing Houston theatre, Fresh Arts and TEATRX are making a lasting impact on the local arts scene.
