Foundation Provides Funding for Proactive Approach to Pediatric Mental Health | News, Sports, Jobs
The Superior Health Foundation awarded $722,065.93 in proactive pediatric mental health grants to six organizations at its fall grant award celebration in October. The Michigan State University – Department of Pediatrics and Human Development; Upper Peninsula Health Care Solutions, Inc.; Great Lakes Recovery Centers, Inc.; Catholic Social Services of the Upper Peninsula, Northern Michigan University and Marquette-Alger RESA were among the organizations that accepted grant awards.
The event was presented by 44North. Pediatric Mental Health Grants will be awarded over a two-year period to support the development of innovative programs that aim to improve the mental health outcomes of children in the region. These grants will help these organizations to continue their work in providing comprehensive mental health services to children and families across the region.
