Exploring the Rich History of Husky Athletics through the UConn Heritage Sports Museum

The Husky Heritage Sports Museum, located in the UConn Alumni Center on the Storrs campus, is a must-visit destination for both longtime fans of the school and first-time visitors. The museum tells the story of UConn teams, coaches, and student-athletes who have shaped the rich history of the Husky experience.

The museum will be open to the public for self-guided tours on Monday before and after the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament on campus. The museum will be open from 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. before the 6 p.m. tip-off and then for an hour after the game. Fans can access the museum through the front door near the north end of the Sherman Family Sports Complex at 2384 Alumni Drive.

Plan your visit to immerse yourself in the history and achievements of UConn athletics, from its storied basketball program to its impressive football team and everything in between. With interactive exhibits, memorabilia, and stories from former players and coaches, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Husky athlete or fan.
