The aim of X is to become an all-in-one application that offers audio, video, messaging, and payment capabilities.

Recently previewed by application researcher Nima Owji, the app’s interface will feature both long-form videos and Shorts presented in vertical format. It will also have filters for recommended and trending content. The app’s main page will showcase both long-form videos and Shorts in a similar design to YouTube TV.

The upcoming X app for smart TVs will be web-based and compatible with most smart TVs. It aims to cater to a variety of content preferences and user needs, establishing itself as a robust streaming platform for video consumption. With its focus on providing high-quality video content at an affordable price point, X is poised to compete in the streaming video platforms sector.
