The MUSC Global Health Week is looking for abstracts for its poster session. These abstracts should be in narrative form and not include tables, charts, or graphs. They must be a maximum of 300 words, excluding the title. The submitting author is expected to attend the event and present the poster and must obtain pre-approval from any co-authors before submitting the abstract.
To be accepted, abstracts should be well-organized, concise, clear, and well-written. They should address a problem in global health and outline the approach taken to solve it. While providing preliminary results is suggested but not required, results will be required for the final poster. Authors must establish a clear connection between their work and outcomes related to global health.
The committee will evaluate submissions based on originality, presentation, relevance, quality, and clarity. They will recommend which submissions should be included in the poster session. Authors will be notified of acceptance by March 29 with detailed instructions on poster preparation sent with the acceptance notice.
