Bill Nye, also known as “the Science Guy,” will be hosting a two-day camping experience in the Texas Hill Country on April 7-8. This event, called Eclipse-O-Rama, is being organized by The Planetary Society, which is led by Nye himself. The festival will take place in Fredericksburg and will include various speakers, activities, food, and the opportunity to watch the total solar eclipse with Nye himself.

The lineup of speakers at Eclipse-O-Rama includes YouTuber Mark Rober, science educator Science Bob, and Planetary Society radio host Sarah Al-Ahmed. Tickets for the festival cost $325 per person and cover daytime programming from Sunday through Monday night. Children aged 5 and younger can attend for free.

However, it’s important to note that this event is exclusive to Planetary Society members only. If you’re not a member yet, you can become one by paying a one-time annual fee of $50 during the Eclipse-O-Rama registration process.
