Double Trouble: England’s Leading the Way in Underage Drinking and Vaping, While Meta Shares Drop on Cancer Risk Revelation

The World Health Organization recently conducted a study that revealed England is leading the way in underage drinking, with girls in the UK drinking, smoking and vaping more than boys. The research analyzed data from 280,000 children aged 11, 13, and 15 from 44 countries and found that two-fifths of girls in England and Scotland have vaped by the age of 15, a rate higher than in many other developed nations.

In other news, Dr. Jo Inchley, the international coordinator for the study called Health Behavior In School-Aged Children shared some of the key findings from the research. Meanwhile, Shetland’s SaxaVord Spaceport has been granted a crucial safety license by the Civil Aviation Authority. This indicates their ability to secure maritime and aviation traffic during rocket launches.

The UK’s new ESA astronaut, Rosemary Coogan is currently undergoing training in microgravity. Coogan and her colleagues recently experienced their first parabolic flight with Airbus’s Zero G A310 plane which created short periods of weightlessness. They had to learn essential skills like performing CPR while anchored upside down and resisting the urge to “swim” in microgravity.

On another front, a study has found that breast cancer survivors are at significant risk of developing entirely new cancers causing shares of Meta to drop after revealing its spending plans. More than half of the world’s population could be at risk of mosquito-borne diseases and research suggests that one’s surname could impact their education and career outcomes.
