Aliyah Boston, the unanimous 2023 WNBA Rookie of the Year, is set to join ESPN’s studio broadcast team for the NCAA Women’s Final Four in Cleveland this weekend. Boston will be working alongside Elle Duncan, Andraya Carter, Chiney Ogwumike, and Carolyn Peck at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

ESPN’s Vice President of Production, Sara Gaiero, expressed her excitement about Boston’s addition to the team. She noted that Boston’s energy and experience as a recent National Championship winner would be a valuable asset to the team. The team has already been popular with fans throughout the tournament and the addition of Hall of Famer Peck was previously announced.

Boston, who played for South Carolina and won the national championship in 2022, shared her enthusiasm at joining the team for this special weekend. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and looks forward to sharing her experience and insights with viewers.

Coverage of the NCAA Women’s Final Four begins on Friday at 6 p.m., with the first semifinal game between South Carolina and NC State at 7 p.m., which will be broadcast on ESPN. The second game features UConn and Iowa. The tournament has already attracted significant viewership numbers.
