
Collaboration Involving WKU Institute for Rural Well being and Center for Applied Science in Well being and Aging Strengthens Wellness Promotion
The Western Kentucky University (WKU) Institute for Rural Well being (IRH) has joined forces with the Center for Applied Science in Well being and Aging (CASHA) to collaborate on an revolutionary Bingocize® workshop. This workshop focuses on exercising, COVID-19, Influenza, Shingles, and Pneumonia education and wellness promotion.
Top this project are Dr. Kim Hyperlink, Co-Director of the IRH, and Dr. Jason Crandall, Creator of Bingocize® and Co-Director of CASHA. They are joined by Dr. Mark Schafer, CASHA Investigation Fellow, and Dr. Kara Haughtigan from the CHHS College of Nursing and Allied Well being.
The funding for this project is supplied by way of a partnership with the Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative, led by USAging. A total of $152,000 will be allocated to make, deliver, and help in the delivery of the new Bingocize® workshop.
