Central High School Baseball Team Wins Narrowly over Penns Valley: A Recap of the Exciting Game

In a thrilling match, the Hollidaysburg Area High School boys tennis team remained undefeated at 5-0 after a close game against Altoona. The Golden Tigers won 3-2, with Altoona securing a singles win from Luke Mitchell and the doubles team of Aiden Aiken and Avery Lanzendorfer. Central defeated Penns Valley 19-9 in six innings in high school baseball. Mason Byler earned the win in relief and struck out four. The Dragon offense was led by Jay Hoenstine, who had three hits and four RBIs, Troy McNichol, who contributed three hits and three RBIs, Griffin Snowberger, who added three hits and two RBIs, and Britton Marko, who chipped in with two hits and three RBIs. This win improved Central’s record to 2-0 while Penns Valley fell to 1-3.
