Celebrating the Legacy of Charlie Lentz: Bojangles Throws Surprise Birthday Party for Devoted Customer.

Bojangles, a beloved restaurant chain in North Carolina, recently threw a surprise party for one of its most loyal customers, Charlie Lentz. The 105-year-old man has been going to the restaurant for decades and is known for his regular order of the Leg & Thigh meal.

Lentz, who lives in Winston-Salem, visits Bojangles every Sunday after church. He was thrilled to celebrate his milestone birthday with a surprise party organized by the restaurant’s regional manager, Horace Spencer. Lentz wore a Bojangles crown during the festivities and enjoyed delicious southern-inspired dishes like chicken and biscuits.

Bojangles opened its doors in 1994 and has quickly become a familiar spot for locals in Winston-Salem. The restaurant is known for its friendly service and delicious food, which are inspired by Southern cuisine. Lentz’s consistent order of the $8 Leg & Thigh meal is always prepared for him ahead of time, making his visits to the restaurant even more special.

Today, Bojangles operates over 800 restaurants in 17 states across the United States. The company was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1977 and has since become a beloved brand among Southerners and beyond. Whether you’re craving fried chicken or biscuits with gravy, Bojangles is sure to have something that will satisfy your taste buds.
