Final week, Sam Schott from Tri-Valley was crowned as the Fall Sports Athlete of the Week. Schott received a total of 665 votes, surpassing Riley Zamensky from John Glenn who collected 438 votes. Schott now joins Emma Briggs from John Glenn and Evelyn Newton from Morgan as the prior winners of this prestigious title.

This week’s nominees for the Fall Sports Athlete of the Week contain a variety of talented athletes from various schools. Tate Ruthers from Sheridan is up for nomination following winning the Division II boys race at the Galion Invite and top his group to a second-spot finish. Yuvi Bastola from Tri-Valley is also in the operating following scoring 4 objectives in a victorious game against Philo.
