Turner to lead team in constructing $300 million engineering and science center at Ohio University

Case Western Reserve University Secures $300 Million Engineering and Science Building Contract

Turner Construction, in partnership with Adrian Maldonado & Associates, Next Generation Construction, and the AKA Team, has secured a contract to construct an engineering and science building at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. This new 189,000 sq ft facility will be the university’s first major research structure in over twenty years and will house wet labs, dry labs, and other research spaces.

The fully American team will work together on this project, which is estimated to cost $300 million and cover design, equipment, and relocation work. Adrian Maldonado, president of Adrian Maldonado & Associates, expressed excitement about the project, stating that it is a truly cutting-edge facility that will further showcase the university’s standing throughout the country in the study of science and engineering. The completion of the building is scheduled for 2026.
