Brainerd Lakes Home Show & Expo Features Over 160 Companies and Nonprofits

Building Relationships and Fostering Community: The Importance of Local Business Trade Shows

This past weekend, the Brainerd Lakes Home Show & Expo took place at Essentia Health Sports Center in Brainerd, where over 160 businesses and non-profit organizations from the region showcased their products and services. Companies took advantage of this opportunity to meet new customers and establish relationships with potential clients.

Setri Barrel Saunas was one of the companies present at the event. Ryan Fuhr, the Foreman, expressed how important it was to meet customers in person and explain their business. Building relationships with customers is essential for small businesses, and events like these allow them to share their entire business story with the community.

Mike Kuck, Owner of Schroeder’s Home Services, emphasized the importance of connecting with people in the community at trade shows. He highlighted how these events provide an opportunity to tailor options to individuals instead of one-size-fits-all solutions offered by larger stores. Trade shows also offer a platform for small business owners to network and collaborate with each other.

While not as large as trade shows in places like Las Vegas, the Brainerd Lakes Home Show offers a unique sense of community and connection that is specific to the area. Kuck mentioned that it brings together consumers, business owners, and members of the community in a friendly and enjoyable environment during March when there may be few other events happening.

In summary, the Brainerd Lakes Home Show & Expo serves as an excellent platform for small businesses to connect with customers, network with other business owners, and showcase their products and services to the community. These events play a vital role in supporting local businesses and fostering a strong sense of community in Brainerd Lakes area.
