Bucks vs. Hawks: High-Stakes Battle Between Two Powerhouses in the Eastern Conference

The Milwaukee Bucks (46-27, second in the Eastern Conference) will face off against the Atlanta Hawks (34-39, 10th in the Eastern Conference) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. EDT. The Hawks are coming off a thrilling 123-122 overtime win over the Boston Celtics, where Dejounte Murray scored 44 points.

Meanwhile, the Bucks have a 31-14 record in Eastern Conference play and rank fourth in the conference in rebounds per game with 44.2. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the team with an average of 11.5 rebounds per game. The Hawks have a field goal percentage of 46.6% for the season, slightly lower than the 46.9% the Bucks allow to opponents. Milwaukee has a field goal percentage of 49.0%, also slightly lower than their opponents’ average this season at 49.8%.

This will be the third matchup between these two teams this season, with Atlanta winning their last meeting by a score of 127-110 on October 29th. Clint Capela is averaging an impressive 25 points per game this season while also pulling down an average of 8 rebounds and blocking shots at a rate of one block per game for Atlanta’s defense. On his end, DeAndre Jordan has been averaging about ten points and eight rebounds per game for Milwaukee while blocking shots at a rate of one block per contest as well.

In their last ten games, both teams have had their ups and downs – Atlanta won six out of ten games and averaged around 105 points while shooting only about half from field goals on average, whereas Milwaukee lost five out of ten games but managed to keep up with Atlanta’s offense by scoring around an average of just under one hundred points and shooting over half from field goals.

Both teams are dealing with some injuries – Atlanta is without Trae Young, Mouhamed Gueye, Kobe Bufkin, Jalen Johnson and Saddiq Bey among others while Milwaukee does not have any players listed as injured at present.

Overall, this is going to be an exciting matchup between two talented teams that are looking forward to making it into the playoffs later this year – stay tuned for more action!
