Brewer Creek Axe Throwing: Bringing the Excitement of Axe-Throwing to Helena”.

A new axe-throwing business has opened its doors in East Helena. On Tuesday, April 16, a group of ten people spent the evening learning and practicing their axe-throwing skills at Brewer Creek Axe Throwing. Keith Brewer, one of the owners, explains that axe coaches teach participants how to properly throw the axe to hit the target. The business operates from a mobile axe-throwing trailer that was built in November.

The idea for a mobile axe-throwing trailer was born after owners Keith and Galen Brewer were inspired to start the business through their love of travel. They noticed axe-throwing was a popular activity in cities like Spokane and Missoula, and wanted to bring that experience back to the Helena area. Interested participants are encouraged to make reservations to secure a spot at Brewer Creek Axe Throwing. Walk-ins are also welcome depending on availability.

For the upcoming summer season, Brewer Creek Axe Throwing will be at Copper Furrow Brewing on Wednesday nights, Missouri River Brewing on Thursday nights, and Lewis and Clark Brewery on Sunday afternoons. The goal of Brewer Creek Axe Throwing is to provide a fun and unique experience for people in the Helena area. The trailer also offers other activities like cornhole, ladder golf, and Montana yard dice for those waiting for their turn to throw axes. Friendly competitions and the opportunity to try different axes are also part of the experience.
