Breaking News: Suspicious Package Report Leads to Evacuation of Ryder Logistics Warehouse in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania

On Monday, a report of a suspicious package was made at 1:30 p.m. in the 8600 block of Congdonhill Drive in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania. According to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky, this was when the Ryder Logistics warehouse, located on the same roadblock, was evacuated.

As a precautionary measure, local roads were closed by Branosky, including Route 100 at Spring Creek Road. The Allentown Bomb Squad was called to Congdon Hill Drive to assist in the investigation shortly before 2 p.m., as announced by Capt. John Christopher of the Allentown Fire Department. This developing situation is being closely monitored and updates will be provided as they become available.
