Blood Donation Drive at UT Health San Antonio: Save Lives, Earn Prizes

On Thursday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the UT Health San Antonio Police Department (UTPD) will be hosting a blood drive on behalf of Blood Donor Services at University Hospital. The drive will take place in UTPD’s Training Room No. 124, located on the first floor of Garage B, adjacent to the School of Nursing. Those who want to donate blood can register online and view available time slots on the day of the event or walk in without registration and check for open slots by calling 210-358-2812. Snacks will be provided to those who donate blood.

The blood donation drive offers incentives for donors based on the number of donations they have made. For their first donation, donors receive a T-shirt, while those who make a second donation get a $20 gift card. A $30 gift card is given for the third donation, $40 for the fourth, $50 for the fifth, and a $60 gift card and entry for a grand prize valued at $500 for the sixth donation.

Any questions or concerns about the blood drive can be directed to 210-358-2812.
