Banožić Exits Intensive Care Unit After Successful Recovery

Former Defense Minister Marijo Banožić’s condition continues to improve, and he has been transferred from the Intensive Care Unit to the Neurosurgery Clinic for further treatment. KBC Osijek announced this progress, which was also confirmed by reports from HRT. According to Croatian law, Banožić has 8 days from his dismissal to activate his parliamentary mandate. His lawyer submitted a request on his behalf to activate the mandate, as well as a request to put it on hold and activate the so-called 6+6 privilege. This means that he will receive full payment of his official salary for the next six months, and half for the next six months.
