Amber Alert Issued for Missing Two-Year-Old Girl in Croatia: Community Encouraged to Report Any Information

The Republic of Croatia’s Ministry of the Interior is asking citizens to share any information they may have about the disappearance of two-year-old girl, Danka Ilić. Authorities can be contacted through Croatian police at phone numbers 01/3788-754 or 192. Danka went missing in Banjsko Polje settlement in Bor, Serbia on October 26. She stands at 85 cm tall with brown hair and eyes, and was last seen wearing an olive green jacket, purple pants, and black tennis shoes.

The Croatian Ministry of the Interior is working closely with the Serbian authorities in the search for Danka by activating her profile in the National Register of Missing Persons. In response to this case, the Republic of Serbia Police activated the PRONAĐI ME (Amber Alert) system for the first time on March 26. This system allows for rapid dissemination of information about missing minors to help locate them quickly. Despite efforts, Danka remains missing and Serbian police are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts, movements or disappearance circumstances to come forward.
