Alyssa Henry, CEO of Block’s Square organization, announces departure from organization

According to a regulatory filing on Monday, the CEO of Square, a unit of fintech organization Block, will be leaving the organization. Alyssa Henry, who has been with the organization for more than nine years, is set to leave on October 2nd. Following this news, Block Inc’s shares saw a lower of two.7% at $49.86 right after the industry closed. Prior to her part at Square, Henry served as the vice president at Amazon Internet Solutions and held positions on the boards of Intel and software program firm Unity Technologies. Block, led by Jack Dorsey, delivers merchant payment solutions and a cryptocurrency trading app, and lately reported an enhance in quarterly income due to greater payment volumes.
