49ers lead Buccaneers 13-7 at the Half: NFL Scoreboard
At halftime, the Buccaneers are trailing the 49ers 13-7, despite having only one red zone opportunity converted into a score. The 49ers managed to score two field goals from Jake Moody and a touchdown reception from Christian McCaffrey in their final two possessions. With a total of 201 yards in the first half, the 49ers had to rely on these scores to stay ahead.
Brock Purdy had an impressive performance with a 14-of-17 passing record for 164 yards and a touchdown. McCaffrey contributed with 10 touches for 50 yards and a touchdown, while receiver Brandon Aiyuk made an impact with four receptions for 80 yards.
On the other hand, the Buccaneers have only accumulated 115 yards in the first half, with their only scoring drive producing just 70 of those yards. Mike Evans scored a touchdown from Baker Mayfield’s pass that produced this drive, but Mayfield also fumbled the ball on a hit by Fred Warner which was recovered by Clelin Ferrell. Mayfield had an overall passing record of 8-of-10 for 80 yards and a touchdown.
